About us
The story of TCS NG began more than twenty years ago, although we formally
established ourselves as an association in 2019. Our mission is to preserve,
build, and develop high-quality trails in cooperation with nature and the
local environment.
We operate primarily in the Goriška region and its surroundings, where we
clean and maintain existing trails which, thanks to their natural features,
scenic views, and thoughtful design, rank among the most beautiful in
Slovenia. In total, we maintain around 40 kilometers of trails suitable for
running, hiking, and mountain biking.
We see mountain biking as an activity that strengthens the body, encourages
social interaction, and connects people with nature. We believe that properly
designed and maintained trails allow safe use with minimal environmental
impact while also contributing to the development of recreation and tourism
in the wider region. Cooperation with like-minded organizations and relevant
institutions is essential to achieving this.
